Mental Health America of York and Adams provides representative payee services for residents of York, Adams, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties. To qualify, you need to receive a Social Security benefit and have a mental health or IDD diagnosis. MHA follows the guidelines of the Social Security Administration to ensure all client needs are met. They aim to partner with clients to create sustainable budgets that are clearly understood by everyone involved. The dedicated payees assist clients in navigating their unique financial situations, acknowledging that each circumstance is different.

(Please note that a monthly fee for our services will be included in your budget and is based on the yearly cost-of-living adjustment set by Social Security.)
